I had the pleasure of spending a month in Argentina in 2004/5. My trip took me to Buenos Aires, (la grande ciudad de) la Plata, Bariloche, and Mendoza.
Argentina
Scotland
In May of 2005 I travelled Scotland with my family. We made a grand circuit, reaching the very northwest tip, and having to contend with terrifying creatures like highland cattle and sheep.
Rome
I visited Rome in August 2005. I was exceedingly fortunate in that Miguel's mother offered me her flat in the Centro Storico as a base.
Big Bend to Mexico
Paige and I spent a night in Big Bend on our January 2006 road trip to Juarez and New Mexico. I couldn't resist taking a bunch of photos that morning.
Anapra
Paige and I stayed in Anapra while in Mexico in January 2006. These photos were taken driving around the place.
Juarez' Cemetery
Whilst in Juarez (in January 2006) Paige and I went along to a funeral. Operating on Mexican time, we arrived after the funeral was finished. We got some nice photos, though!
Angel Fire and surrounds
Despite the fact that no angels were burnt in the vicinity, this is a very pretty part of New Mexico. Paige and I stayed here on our January 2006 road trip.
New York, New York
New York in Spring '06 ... what a great week. I wonder what it's like in winter?
East Africa
June 2006 saw my family and I taking a fantastic journey into East Africa. We set off from Cape Town, racing up to Dar es Salaam, where we met my brother, and set off to explore Tanzania and Kenya. 10 days of wonderful adventure followed. An obvious highlight was Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, but the whole experience was amazing. I flew home from Nairobi, while my brother and parents carried on driving.
Big Bend with Boet
My brother and I went on a few days' trip to Big Bend in December '06. It was pretty damn cold, but extremely beautiful.
